About Myself

I am Brendon Fraser, a professional architectural designer, photographer and artist in Ottawa with a BCIN, and I run the firm Veza Design + Planning. I graduated Carleton University’s Bachelor of Architecture program in 2018, and have been working in architecture ever since. My expertise is chiefly in Conservation and Sustainable design, and have worked on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial to industrial and religious buildings.

My goal in all my designs is to nurture and respect human connections with eachother, the land they rest on, and the buildings or items they interact with. I do this through sustainable designs, waste-reducing design decisions, and democratic* design principles.

For fun, I play tennis, learn languages and play video games with my wife and friends. I also hold a weekly craft and art group called Crafternoon to help nurture and support artists and build community.
